We at Pinecrest Church seek to know Jesus Christ and the Christian Gospel, to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and to reach out to people of all ages. We will strive to live in the overflow of God’s love through evangelism, discipleship, and service.

WELCOME

Pinecrest Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church extends a warm Christian welcome to everyone! We hope that you will visit us and that you will feel you’ve found your Church home here. Pinecrest has Spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities available for people of all ages.

WHO WE ARE

The Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church is rooted in Scotland. Constituted as a denomination in the United States in 1782, our churches are located throughout the U.S. and Canada. Today our ministry reaches worldwide. Our doctrine is Reformed, meaning that we are of the Calvinistic heritage, and that we always seek to reform our beliefs and lives in accordance to the Word of God, the Bible. Our doctrinal foundation is set forth in the Westminster Confession of Faith, and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. Our government is representative and is exercised by Elders elected by the congregation, with Jesus Christ as the Lord and Head of the Church.

WE BELIEVE THAT…

*The Bible is the Holy, Inerrant and Inspired Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice;
*There is one God, existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created all things and upholds all things by His sovereign will;
*Man is sinful and without hope apart from the mercy of God;
*Salvation is by grace alone, through faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ;
*Christ is Lord of all – over the individual believer and the whole creation;
*All of life is to be lived to God’s glory;
*Christians are called to witness for Christ, both personally and through home and foreign missions.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

We realize that children are great blessings from God and we strive to provide ministries that will help them understand God’s plan for life. Pinecrest offers many activities for children including:

*Bible Club (ages 4 through 5th grade)

* Vacation Bible School (Summer)

*Sunday School

*Children’s Church

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth Ministry is designed to guide young people through the turbulent years when there are significant changes, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. As they confront the tough issues of life, such as peer pressure, drugs and alcohol, sexual purity, family and friendships, the youth are challenged to look to the written Word of God, the Bible, and to the living Word, Jesus Christ. Youth are encouraged to be active in the church through Sunday School, Worship, Bible Study and activities such as:

*Praise Band and Overflow
*Mission Trips and Outreach Projects
*Retreats and Fellowship Activities (ski trips, camping, Carowinds, etc.)

ADULT MINISTRY

Our goals for Adult Ministry are simple. We work to lead single/married adults to a growing and loving relationship with Jesus Christ. We grow closer to God and each other through Bible study, worship, prayer, fellowship and service. As a church family we provide:

*Opportunities for Outreach and Service in the church, the community, and the world through service projects and mission trips.

*Young Adult group outings such as cook-outs, sports, and hiking.

*Senior Adults (over 50) participate in day trips to special attractions and educational and cultural experiences.

*Small Groups promoting spiritual growth meet weekly and bi-weekly.

WOMEN OF THE CHURCH (WOC)
